How Entrenaro
works.

The complete guide — community, squad, lineup, market, points and the two modes. Written to look things up, not to read end to end.

The principle

What is Entrenaro?

Entrenaro is a fantasy football platform for small groups. A community is a circle of 5–10 friends or colleagues sharing one common pool of Premier League players — and each player exists only once in that community. Whoever holds him holds him exclusively. Everyone else has to buy him off that manager.

Through a daily transfer market you compete for players, outbid each other and build your squad. What you win, your rivals lose. Over the season the players' real performances in the Premier League turn your squad into points — and in the end it shows who genuinely built the better team.

Community

Community

What a community is

A community is your league: a closed group of 5–10 managers who share one pool of Premier League players. Every player in that pool exists exactly once. That scarcity is what makes the market matter — a signing is always someone else's loss.

How a community works

Two things are fixed when the community is created and then apply to everyone in it: the mode and the starting budget. Everyone starts on the same budget, and the budget is reset after every season. The founder is the admin and approves who gets in.

Founding a community

Any user can found a community.

  1. On the Community tab you will find a plus icon next to the search bar.
  2. That creates a new community.
  3. When creating it you set:
    • the mode (Classic or Versus, see below),
    • the starting budget for all members — €25M, €40M or €60M,
    • how many new players the market shows per day — 10, 20 or 30.
  4. As the founder you automatically become admin of the community and approve future join requests.

Joining a community

As long as you are not in a community yet, the Community tab shows you the search automatically.

  1. Go to the Community tab.
  2. Search for the name of the community you want to join.
  3. Send your join request.
  4. The community admin approves your request.
  5. Once approved, you are in.

If you are already in a community

The search is not on the Community tab then. You reach it through the navigation:

  1. Tap More in the bottom navigation.
  2. Tap Switch Community.
  3. Tap Join Community.
  4. From here the steps are the same: search the name, send your join request, and the admin approves it.
Squad

Squad

What a squad is

Your squad is everything you own: 18 to 22 players, listed on the squad screen with market value, form and status. It is not what plays — that is the lineup. The squad is your assets.

How squads are created

As soon as you join a community you automatically get two things:

  • A random squad: 18 to 22 players with a total market value between €20M and €22M. That is your starting squad — you see it in the squad screen right away.
  • A starting budget: on top of the squad you get cash to bid with — €25M, €40M or €60M, depending on what was set when the community was created.

Adding and selling players

Both go through the transfer market.

  • Adding: bid on the players the computer puts on the market each day, or on players other managers have listed. The highest bid wins.
  • Selling: list players you do not need and other managers place offers on them. And if nobody bids, the computer buys the player off you — so you can always turn a player back into budget. See Transfer market for both.
Transfer market

Transfer market

What the market does

The transfer market is the heart of Entrenaro. Because every player exists only once per community, it is the only way to get a player someone else already owns — and the only way to turn players back into budget. It runs every day, all season.

When it closes

The market closes at 01:00 UTC. All market times are given in UTC — check what that means in your own time zone. Resolution happens right after close: there is no confirmation step. If you are the highest bidder, the player is assigned to you, the budget deducted immediately and the transfer completed in full.

Bids between managers

You can list players from your squad that you do not need. Other managers then place offers on them. With several offers you decide yourself who to sell to — not automatically the highest bidder. That makes selling a negotiation, not an auction.

Bids on computer players

The computer puts new players on the market every day — 10, 20 or 30, depending on the community setting. You bid on these within your community.

  • The highest bidder gets the player.
  • Players nobody bid on are cleared and replaced with fresh ones the next day.
  • If nobody bid on a player you listed, the computer offers you between −5% and +5% of his market value the next day — at random, so it can be above or below.

Market values and how they are calculated

Every player has a market value that is recalculated daily. It comes out of several factors — the player's performance, his popularity, the phase of the season and his form. The exact formula is a black box; you develop a feel for it, but you do not get an exact calculation.

The market value is more than a number — it is a strategic tool:

  • Buy players cheaply that you believe will perform. If their market value rises, you sell at a profit and top up your budget — even if you never needed them in your starting eleven.
  • The reverse also holds: buy players who do not deliver and their market value can fall — and the total value of your squad drops with it.

So the market is not only there for trading, it is an investment mechanic for managing your budget.

Lineup

Lineup

What a lineup is

The lineup is the part of your squad that actually plays: 11 starting slots and 3 bench slots. Only players in the lineup score points. You switch between squad and lineup through the navigation.

Setting it, and by when

You have to set your lineup before every gameweek — not once, but again each week.

  • Deadline: the first kickoff of the gameweek. The first match of the gameweek is automatically your cut-off.
  • 11 starters = mandatory. Starting slots left empty score 0 points.
  • 3 bench players = optional. You do not have to fill the bench; the system makes no difference if it stays empty.

How the bench works

After kickoff you can no longer change your starting eleven freely — with one exception:

You can swap a bench player for a starter as long as neither has played yet and both play the same position. Example: your midfielder in the starting eleven has not started yet, and you have a midfielder on the bench whose match has not kicked off either — then you can swap the two.

Before every gameweek

For your points to count at all on a gameweek, one condition has to be met:

  • Budget ≥ 0. When bidding you can in theory spend more than you have and slip into the negative. If your budget is negative at the gameweek, you score no points. Keep it positive.
In progress

A maximum squad size per community — checked at the gameweek — is planned but not implemented yet.

Modes & points

How you win

One of two modes is set when the community is created:

Classic

All the points you collect per gameweek are accumulated and shown in a table. The winner is whoever has the most points after gameweek 38. On a tie the manager with the higher squad market value wins.

Versus (head-to-head)

Here you play directly against another manager each gameweek. It is a draw when the points gap between the two managers on that gameweek is smaller than 20 points.

Fixture list

The fixture list is regenerated whenever someone joins — but only for gameweeks not yet played. Fixtures already played stay as they are.

How points are calculated

The players you field collect points based on their real performance in the Premier League. Different actions give different points — goals, assists, duels, passes and more, weighted by position.

  • While a gameweek is running you see your players' live points in the lineup screen.
  • The official settlement happens at the end of the last match of the gameweek — that is when the points from your fielded players' performances are credited to you.

The full table is in what every action is worth.

Points table

What every action
is worth.

Scoring is action-based, not rating-based: the same match events always produce the same score. All values are whole numbers, and the table is frozen for the season — nothing changes mid-campaign.

Where a stat is worth the same to everyone, the value sits in Overall. Where it depends on where the player plays, read the position column instead.

Feed

The Feed page

The Feed page is your central status hub. In the header you see four values:

  • Rank in your community
  • Gameweek points from the last gameweek — while a gameweek is running, the live points show here instead
  • Total points across the season
  • Budget — your cash to bid with

Below that you find four tabs:

  • News: community events — a new user has joined, the gameweek starts soon, and so on.
  • Events: live events on gameweeks — goals, yellow and red cards, assists.
  • Transfers: transfer activity — which transfer took place and who landed a player with the highest bid.
  • Player status: injuries and comebacks in your squad.
Note

This guide describes the state as currently implemented. Sections marked “In progress” can still change.

Daily routine

Your day in
10–20 minutes.

Entrenaro costs you about 10–20 minutes a day. The daily routine:

  • In the morning: you open the Feed and see what happened overnight — did yesterday's bids go through, or did someone outbid you? Who landed which player?
  • Review offers: offers may have come in for the players you listed for sale. You decide: sell or keep.
  • New players: the computer puts fresh players on the market every day. You look them over and place your bids.
  • Until 01:00 UTC: the market closes at 01:00 UTC. Until then you can bid and adjust bids. Times are given in UTC, so check what that means where you are.
  • Before every gameweek: set your lineup before the first match of the gameweek kicks off.

That is the whole rhythm. Check in once in the morning and set your bids before the market closes, and you are in it.
